This week on the podcast, we have Scottie Elliott. Scottie is the co-founder of Gather, an online collaboration platform that helps interior designers manage and share project specifications with team members and clients. She and her husband Brian, an accomplished software designer, saw the need for a simple tool that would allow designers to easily manage and share all the nitty-gritty details of their projects. This realization led the two to join forces and build Gather.

With nearly 20 years of experience in the field of interior design, Scottie is an industry veteran. Early on, she cut her teeth working inside high-end showrooms and later moved into design services and project management. This diverse array of experience gives Scottie a unique perspective of the industry that few others can claim to possess. Her true passion lies in helping designers execute their creative vision, which is what led her, along with her husband and co-founder to start Gather.
These days, Scottie lives with her husband and 8-year old son in San Miguel de Allende, a sun-drenched enclave in central Mexico renowned for its baroque Spanish architecture, sophisticated design, and thriving arts scene. It inspires her to push the boundaries of what’s possible and serve the industry that she so loves.
